How to resize an ACI-PDF file?

I sent a file to VA that was 6.57mb which "is over the size limit for VA pdf appraisals (should be under 2mb). I use ACI. How can I resize the pdf file? Please help.

OPTION 1. OPEN report, go to PHOTO addenda, right click on each photo REDUCE SIZE

depending on the number of photos and size of each orig photo - they can increase a file size by 30-50-100%.

OPTION 2.
ANY time I have more than 6 pics (which is alllll the time) - I use free desktop image resizer ......click and drag pic into the BOX ..........instantly produces a clear dup image MUCH smaller ........ then saves reduction in same file WITH original pic for future use. TAKES..................seconds!!

Clickforms has a graphic size adjuster. Also, if you have Adobe Acrobat you can use it to reduce the file size. graphics are the problem and you can identify the worst offenders and use the resizer from power toys...everyone should be using resizer

The advantage of the full version of Acrobat is that it has an optimize feature that will quickly reduce the size of a PDF file. That allows you to keep your original photos at hi-res in your form filling software while allow for reasonable file sizes when you create a PDF document.

The optimize feature is also has user settings so that you can customize differing compression levels and resolutions of your images.

I Use ACI And Send VA.

First I Transfer Pic From Camera--then Resize Down To 50,000 Bytes To Another Folder By Using Axiomx Picsizer, (free At One Time)

Then I Bring Up That Resized Folder And Drag Pic Into ACI Photo Pages. As Many As 20,

Convert Report To Pdf, Combine Pdf Copy Of O&a With Pdf Combiner And Send To VA. Remembering To Save Combined File As Case #,

Piece Of Cake.

SCANNER FOR OTHER CONVERSIONS.

PDF COMBINER WILL COMBINE SEVERAL FILES BUT IT IS A LITTLE HAIRY--BUT FOR JUST TWO FILES ITS OK.

MAKE THE LENDER OR AGENT SEND SALES CONTRACT (O&A) TO ME IN PDF FORM, THEN COMBINE TO SEND TO VA.

I USUALLY PUT THE REPORT FIRST AND S.C. LAST.

I USE SEPARATE FOLDERS FOR EACH FILE WITH THE CASE# AS NAME SO WHEN SENDING TO VA IT WILL BE IN "SUBJECT" BOX.
