I don't know what I have done to my 12c, but I have the following display and I can't figure out how to get it to "normal" mode.

0.000000 00

When I try to do anything, like multiply 2 numbers, I get the following (example 55.6 X 142.7)

55.6 Enter (display shows 5.560000 01)
142.7 X (display shows 7.934120 03)

HELP!

Try hitting the EEX button.

I don't know about the extra 2 digits off to the right, but you can hit F and the number of digits you want to display to the right of the decimal point.

Example:
F2 = 0.00
F3 = 0.000

Your display is using scientific notation. The EEX button will display the number in this format, but mine does not stick in that format. I don't have a clue where my manual is located. If you can find yours it might have the answer now that you have clues where to look.

f . (period) turns on Scientific notation, f 2 sets to two decimals, f4 sets to sets to four decimal display, etc. etc. etc.

Solution!

f. and then f2 solved the problem.

'preciate it!
