Might want to try to clear the capacitor....take the batteries out....place a paper clip (same one) on each terminal and it will drain the excess power in the capacitor....sometimes happens when batteries are low or malfunctioning....one I did that it was working like now. Take it to a batteries plus if you have one near you...they can be helpful too, they can test it to see if the capacitor is holding a small amount of power. Hope that helps!
