HUD issued key

I still have my HUD key. I haven't used it in a couple years, but I do know I had to give a copy of my drivers license when I got it.

I didn't have to give any info for my HUD Key.
Had one, didn't use for years. Lost it, had a HUD owned property, got a new copy of the HUD key for $5 from the listing brokerage. They had my info from MLS agent id. But didn't request anything further.

Your HUD and your Fannie key may be identical.
Passing by a VA REO that was For Sale, I stopped to take a photo for use as a possible now or future comp.
Property looked decent, decided to take a look inside, my Fannie REO key worked perfectly.
