DOH, read up on the costs it is not just teh plane and part of Trumps plans are build costely detention centers and pay to detain illegals for years.

So what? Fixing the problems caused by the Dems and enforcing the laws and upholding the rule of law costs money. Fixing the mess the people you support ain't gonna be cheap, but it has got to be done.

His dad is illegal and should have self-deported instead of resisting arrest and fighting with ICE.

Again, not all the illegals here were a problem, as many worked and paid taxes, and even owned businesses- a path to citizenship would make sense for a portion.

The Dems alone did not cause the problem, Trump's wall was never finished, and what was finished, obviously, did nothing to stem the tide. There were still illegal crossings during Trumps term too - it increased under Biden but many illegals being deported have been here for years.

Nice to hear that you want to enjoy cheap food that is subsidized by abused illegal migrant labor that is routinely mistreated and paid crap wages (and often cheated out of part of the wages they are supposed to be paid).

I agree that some illegals possibly should be permitted to stay, but only those who we decide should be allowed to and only after an extenisve background check (which they pay the costs of) and after a determination on an individual basis that allowing them to stay will benefit this country. While some should be given permanent residency (a green card as it used to be called), no one who entered this country illegally should ever be granted ciizenship, except perhaps those who receive an honorable discharge after at least 10 years of service in the military.

That argument is getting very stale. We had at least 15M enter during the past 4 years. Most of them working age. Does anyone really think we need 5-6M more cheap workers. Who was doing all of these jobs before 2020
