Would like to buy a used disto. Stupidly lost mine after 3 years and feel naked without. Ron Patton, Chattanooga, TN rlpatton@comcast.net

I think.

Walter Kirk has one you can buy cheap!!:new_all_coholic:

Excuse me, but who is Walter Kirk? ron patton

You'll get my distro when you pry it from my cold dead hands! Oh wait, I don't have a Distro. But it sounds good doesn't it?

Try ebay. I know someone who picked one up pretty cheap there

Sad to report I just spend close to $200 on E-bay with a company that has an established reputation as a Disto distributor. Product came today as a used "guaranteed" Disto. Fresh out of the Federal express box, all it gives me is an error code that is not even in the manuals. I will be calling this distributor Wednesday a.m. If they are not responsive, I will be posting widely. Frustrating . . . I'm old enough to know that if it sounds too good, it probably is. I'll never sell my Disto. Last week I thought that my Disto died, It gave an error code and wouldn't turn off. That Disto gave me great service so I bought another ( used on E-Bay).
I told a friend about the problem and he gave me a Craftsman laser.

Today I picked up the old Disto to check the error code, I pushed a bunch of buttons and the Disto started to work again. Now I have two Disto's and the Craftsman but I'm happy.
