Home Valuation Code of Conduct. Now that Senator Dodd managed to pass the new mortgage (Fannie Mea) legislation through the senate... did the HVCC pass with it and how will that affect us appraisers? Was Senator Dole able to stop it? Has anyone hear the details of the bill, except how good it will be to the mortgage industry.
I feel Senator Dodd needs to come home and explain the new requirements to the appraisers in this state, live and in person.
