The OPs state does not issue trainee licenses. There's no license for them to obtain until they accrue their experience hours for an SL.
Watch their video. The pay is pretty ok, but as a supervisory appraiser you will have three trainees under you who do the field work and you sign off on their report, did not inspect. They also want your client's info. Once you have competent trainees, its all office work.Don't quit your day job Matlock.

Does the appraiser sign-off as not inspecting the property, either interior or exterio?A company that hires Appraisers for remote work while sending “trainees” to inspect. The Appraiser only picks comps and signs the report while seeing none of the fee whatsoever.
