I AM CURRENTLY ENROLLED IN APPRAISAL CLASSES. I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO TAKE ME IN AS A TRAINEE BUT AM HAVING A LITTLE TROUBLE FINDING SOMEONE. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY ADVICE AS TO WHO I SHOULD GO TALK TO IN TEXAS. I WOULD APPRECIATE ANY HELP I CAN GET.:new_newbie:

Where are you in Texas?

What kind of classes are you in?

I live in Wichita falls, TX. its 150 miles north of dallas. Im enrolled in an appraisal course to take care of my required 150 hrs. The way its looking i may have to relocate to get my training in.

The way things are, it might be difficult to find mentors, pending on the amount of work. There are many that would like to get addition trainees, but may not be able to pay well or not enough to keep you busy. Also, many may be up to three trainees and can not fit you in. I wish you well and best of luck.

Im Just Going To Have To Go Into The Offices In My Town And Talk To Them. I Can Bring My Own Business Into The Office If Thats What There Worried About. Maybe If I Bug Them Enough They Will Understand I Mean Business And Am Not Going Anywhere.

If you can bring in your own business, that might be a start, but you have to understand that will be the exchange. You can bug them all you want, but it's rough out there, unless you wish to work for an AMC appraisal shop.

I would like to get a Trainee, but I am not ready right now. There are strategic dynamics I must prep before I go forward.
