The "Ignore" feature has been expanded beyond ignoring other members. You can now ignore entire forums and threads.

Say you don't want the off topic forum, The Watercooler to show up when you view new posts. Go go the Watercooler Forum and click the "ignore forum" button at the top right of the forum. Then confirm you want to ignore it and the Watercooler won't show up for you, nor will it's content when you search either New Posts or Whats New.

Same way with threads. If there is a thread you want to ignore there is a similar button at the top of the beginning of the thread.

That's good. Knowing how some things bother some more than others, it is very good idea.

Thank you! You don't see all these political saboteurs on say, a 'jet ski' or 'lawn mower' forum.

Our job has a political bent to it b/c it involves human beings and Govt policy, but I am glad we are able to block some of these people...they are up to no good and ruining the forum.

I put the watercooler forum on ignore a few days ago. A real improvement. Now I see actual appraisal threads.

Funny how people lack the self control/self discipline to just not click on threads....

Oversimplification. Less about the threads overall than the people viciously attacking others on them. There is one in particular that is really aggressive/frothy and has made me consider deleting my account which I have had for 15 years.

For those of us posting under our own names, just ignoring them as they personally attack, call us racists or whatever for the entire world to see....is not really an option. The only solution is to go to war with them online and wait for the thought police to show up OR completely ignore them and their posts.

There is no sense in tangling with unhinged people. The lefties have taken over and ruined every single social media platform. This forum will be no different than the others they have captured unless someone in control gets a handle on it.

The one thing all of us can do, is ignore them altogether. They will have no one to argue with and they will leave.

So many snowflake forumites complaining....
Can dish it out but can't take it.... :)
