I'm Being Threatened Again

Pam,

I too am proud of you. I agree with Will, a refund may be spun and misconstrued by an ethically challenged sort as a submission of guilt. No way!! You earned your $$. I would encourage going after Mr/Ms. Blind first appraiser by all means. He got screwed at the point of the purchase appraisal, not the refi appraisal, and this point is what needs to be driven home hopefully somewhere twixt his ears. (by the lender who turned him down).

Pam,
Go by the courthouse ..... get a copy of the warranty deed and see if you can locate the original lender. I know that they can't show you the appraisal, but they can tell you who appraised it.... If they want to ........

If I gave back or waived my fee for every Tom, Dick & Harry who was upset, cause I didn't hit their number--I'd be broke.

Everybody handles a threatening situation differently--as for me--I hit back.

Straight up or in an alley Sally! (guys love it when ya call em Sally).

Sorry for your troubles. I seem to recall in one of your post that you worked out of your house and did not want to take on a trainee. If you have had this problem before and many women in the business run in to it at time. I would suggest maybe considering a trainee, someone about my size, 6'6", 270 lbs. No I am not looking for a mentor.

I like Lee Ann's letter idea, maybe find a biker friend or two to deliver them person.

Don't make any business decisions right now.

Good luck.
