The worse part of doing a field review for them is if you work according to their assignment conditions, you are possibly harming an ethical appaiser who performed the origination appraisal by putting him under investigation. Some of the users of that field review will believe the iMortgage appraiser over the origination appraiser if they do not know how the field review appraiser for iMortgage crosses the line of ethical.

I see reports from appraisers in many of the 50 states that do this. I will be filing state complaints against them, but as AMCs do not have to comply with USPAP, who will stop iMortgage Services from these practices?

That would be a good question to ask the appraisal board at their next meeting.
