I agree....usually on my first assignment I send a copy of my license, E & O insurance, and a W-9. Alamode software has one in their forms library so just add it to your template and send when needed. Every year most of my clients ask for a new W-9...we keep one handy for quick faxing. It is amazing how many companies fail to send us 1099s at the end of the year. I don't rely on those, just use my book keeping system to tell me how much we made. Looks like we will be carrying over a bunch this year...lenders have been very slow paying this last quarter.
