Wondering if a SF with an indoor pool in the basement area would be eligible for VA financing?

Thanks!

I did one a few years ago and counted the pool room in the square footage but not GLA. It was fully finished and had both heating and air conditioning. Had a reviewer challenge it. I won.

Why would it not be eligible?

It would be eligible, though the value could be an issue ultimately suffered by the buyer.

Just curious. Are indoor pools somewhat common in that market?

I have completed 3 for the VA. Did pretty much what Mike said.

In 1 case there was an abundance of what turned out to be mold.
