Anyone here on site that works for INDOT? Would like some information. PM me if you want. Want some general information about your experiences with INDOT.

Thanks

Doug

Have not worked for them, but have taken an Eminent Domain class that Larry Allison taught in 2003 at Education REsource. Not sure what information you are looking for, but these appraisals are a different animal. I still have my information & the Appraisal Manual from INDOT.

I am currently signed up fot the EmDom course at EdResource in March. There is also an INDOT seminar that you must take and pass to be elgible to do work for INDOT, that seminar is in early April.

I met an INDOT person at ConEd recently and they told me about the process and the reporting. Most of the work is done in narrative format and they are looking for people very attentive to detail. They pay regularly and there are several opportunities and different types of jobs available. If you have specific questions I can ask my contact, just let me know.

Hopefully that helps.

Just wanting some general information. It may be that INDOT will become really busy here in Indiana and might want another good source of business.

Sent an email to INDOT asking for some info and got put on the seating list for April!! I guess I will be getting a lot of additional information!!

FYI, EdResource has an introductory ED class March 6 and 7, it's $225 and I think the guy teaching it works for INDOT and it will probably help in passing the test at the end of the seminar.

Who is teaching the course? Send me pm if you want.

Honestly, I can't remember the name. It may be Larry Allison again, I am not sure. From what I remember, Ratterman told me it was an INDOT guy.
