When it is all said and done, and the nation levels out...perhaps in my lifetime, perhaps not... they will look back that this time and say that is was the Great Depression II... nothing less. It is not a "recession" as loathe as politicos are to use even that word. If you take out the element of foreign investment (i.e.- the impact of American companies overseas) we are still in a full blown downturn with little hope for any kind of rapid recovery.

I helped a guy pick up a refrigerator yesterday ..... took one hour ... I made $5.00

Today I fixed a broken water main ..... 3 hours ... made $30 ...

... I am trying to get a job helped with the mentally handicapped ..... my 4 year degree is not considered as a qualifier ...... all I need is 1 year experience as a baby sitter with a GED and I could get the job .....

.... they want to hire a male to take some of the kids fishing ........ well when I was a boy ...... I went fishing ....... while my sister did baby sitting ..... if only I had been a baby sitter instead of fishing ..... I'd have a job ...... that would pay me $8 an hour...

..... a 4 year degree opens doors - that was the mantra I was told .....

..... I am going to go finish my greenhouse now ..... maybe fix a thermostat tomorrow and fix a windo pane ..... maybe make $50 .....
