I would move to USVI or Puerto Rico. It's still America, close to home, lower cost of living, great weather, no work visa, no federal taxes, and less of a language barrier.

Trained with another appraiser that ended up going to PR first and then settled on St Johns USVI and did very well.

That is nutz - people do not only date people with the exact same political views, and unless a woman is a strident radical leftie, her having some more liberal views is not an issue - for most people. It is an age thing. The men seeking mail-order brides want very young or subserivent young women -These men could date a 45 year old conservative American women but they want age 25, even if they are age 50. That is the point-

These men are not going to the Philippines or Bulgaria to find conservative women who are 50 years old to bring home with them!

You may perhaps be familiar with the concept of effective demand. Wherein the buyer has the demand AND has the means to satisfy that demand. "The means" costs more in the western economies and costs less in the 3rd world economies. The math is the math.

Add to that, 35yr old women have far less leverage (on average) in the mating/dating game than they did when they were 25yr old women. Regardless of where they live in the world, not just in Bulgaria and the Philippines. In America, too. Similarly, the inverse tends to be true for men as a group.

That is true, but women go on to do other things - raise their kids, have a career etc - most come to terms with it at a certain point. The problem for men is that even though they can be more in demand as they age , if they set their sights on the younger women, the younger women are stil in limited supply. Thus men go to poor nations to get it - idk how often it works out, I guess it is worth it for them to try!
