Is Fannie 3.6 Tom Sawyer’s fence?
Fannie is not intelligent, the 3.6 fiasco is proof enough of that, yet Fannie is clever. By partnering with software companies that offer free trial offers, they have managed to hoodwink thousands of appraisers into trying in vain to paint the 3.6 fence which not only is poorly designed and constructed, it hasn’t found a paint it likes yet. How long will the free paint labor continue?

I am ignoring the free trial offers. It is too distracting - I paid for ALamode, I am familiar with their product and trust them as a long-time company. I will learn UAD 3.6 on their platform and if I want to switch companies later the option is always there.

I bet half the start-ups wont last a year. It seems easy for a software company to get some free or cheap version of AI, combine it with 3.6, make a website and declare themselves the newest, most awesome solution in appraising. Auto-populating is available as an option with Alamode and always has been.

If '3.6' is Aunt Polly's fence, what will eventually happen to Jim, will he go free or remain a slave? Bill Ackman (Pap Finn) & Pershing Capital (The King & The Duke) already own 12% of Jim) and have called it a 'lottery ticket you put in a drawer.' Beyond getting the big payday, I doubt anyone cares about the 'full faith and credit' of the American taxpayer. "White washing" was never more appropriate as an analogy when trying to figure out 'what to do with FNMA.'

No.... it's a barbed wire fence. Twisted strands of fence wire with barbs at regular intervals..... try to climb over it.
