Is Elon right or wrong on abolishing government debt limit?

Only 38 Republicans had the courage to say no.
I bet a lot more wanted to vote no but they are cowards who are cowed by Trump - which is how we got here.

I read a headline on one of the news outlets - the entire country is being held hostage now by Musk. - He seems to have a wormhole in Trump's brain. Clearly, Trump wants free reign and to let the democrats take the rap with the debt ceiling to allow him to spend and borrow recklessly ( in order to UW the massive tax cuts to his billionaire cronies -last time to UW the tax breaks added trillions to the deficit).

FWIW, IMO it is wrong. If the Republicans are serious about reining in debt and deficit, then they should do so, and if that means no massive tax cuts to the 1 %, then they need the guts to ax it.
One of the things I enjoy most about your comments is this: you read the first line and think it can't get any more obtuse. But it does... it just keeps getting better with each word written. I've read enough of your posts by now to know that you're not just being funny - you really believe this nonsense. And that makes it even better. Keep up the good work, J!

Have you ever been going along and got screw or nail in the tire?

Many republicans said "hell no" to Elon's suggestion.

Another thought. What can Elon do to help the USA deficit a/k/a debt?

Another question. Who is influencing Elon?

I haven't seen Elon on any voting booths I have visited.
Elon wants what is best for Elon. No regulation and to do what ever the heck he wants. He does not have the American people's interest in mind.

So its Trump with worms in the brain instead of Kennedy or in addition to Kennedy? I am going with both

The man is old. Give him a break. Trump just can't seem to get a break. Look, I'm old. Give me a break.

I don't know about the worm in the brain. I am not a brain specialist. Where did the worm go? I don't know.

Where did the worm come from? I don't know.

I want a picture of the worm in the health director's brain.

Kennedy said he thought he had worms in brain.

I wonder if anyone here seriously thinks Obama or Biden or HRC have developed their opinions and platforms on their own and without any input or advice or opinions or outright bribery or blackmail from others?

How many times has Trump been criticized for ignoring or overruling his advisors and making his own decisions?
