Is It Super Slow Or What?

Yeah no kidding. I wonder who's "EXTREMELY" busy and what fees they are actually accepting?

I know of one local appraiser that is VERY busy but his average fee is $125.00, so go figure.

What is the first thing they teach us in real estate school? Markets are Local. I'm sorry, the vast majority of those posting opinions have never actually WORKED in the real estate market. I resent the implication that just because I have an acceptable level of work that I am producing substandard work. I've been licensed in the state of Florida since 1980 in Real Estate professions first as a salesman, then a Broker (1988) and as an appraiser in 1993. Maybe I'm busy because I'm GOOD. If you can't accept that premise then kiss my *****.

You are right I am enjoying my $50.00 1004 I have done 25 orders so far this month...1,250 half way through the month is not bad...

Wow! 25 orders pumped out in 11 days for a wow again 1,250... mang you must be rich now...

I, myself have performed three forensic field reviews at 650 a pop in 11 days... do the math skippy, that's 3.

I should be reaching that county pretty soon.... make sure you mark all your boxes in the correct manner, and pray it's not one of yours.

If your good under these obscene AMC conditions then your not as good as you think you are.

Anyone out there with some happy thoughts? Why not give one's fellow appraisers the benefit of the doubt? It is really easy to get cross wired in these electronic conversations.

My average fee this month, including finals and 2055's is $322. I work alone, I can do comfortably 1 a day, and yes I signed the petition. The arrogance on this forum is unbelievable.

Tom, some sourpusses want to blame everybody else but themselves for everything. I am happy you continue to thrive in a down market. Feel very lucky, so far.

Tom some folks will never learn quality sells. You were in real estate through the 80's. My hat is off to you.
When I meet a young broker or appraiser talking about how tough it is, I ask what did you do for a living in 1985ish, when the term jingle mail was created in Texas? Most don't know what I am talking about. In my area at least, the current situation is a walk in the park by comparison.

Congrats on your success and keep up the good work !
