Is this a Plumbing Problem?

That reminds me of the movie "Brazil". :rof:

You are right. A matter of fact I just saw that movie, weird/bizarre.

Major violations:
1)Excessive spans on unsupported pipe (PVC must be supported every feet and within 1 foot of change in direction.
2)No metal hangers allowed on PVC pipe
3) Clean out required wherever there is a change in direction greater than 45 degrees.
4) Tee's are prohibited on horizontal lines.
5) max vertical drop from a drain to a trap is 24" also if one assumes that there are traps above the floor then all the traps in the photo are illegal because code prohibits double trapping. Also a couple of the traps are too deep...code says the water level must be between 4 and6 inches.

All pipes appear same size (1.5" or 2" ??) even after they join.
..... Very wrong

Looks like the "plumber" was trying to use up all his left over pipe and fittings.

Looks like the plumber charged by the foot and per fitting.

Wife was doing a review of a home that had been "updated" per the appraisal. Found the 1st cousin of the plumbing shown here. I agree. It's "Pipes" the screen saver.
