Warren has his act together. I don't know if his IC plan would differ that much from Trump's in terms of effectiveness, but it is on the right side of the equation in dealing with this problem.

My local newspaper dropped Scott Adams when he refused to be woke, so I appreciate Alsie including his clips. Generally Adams has it right, but along with Sen. Kennedy saying "In the long run we will all be dead" comment on tariffs, there is a Middle "Run." I get tired of 'short run' and 'long run' talk, since it is just part of economic theory. Trump has gotten about $1 Trillion in new plant construction based on his tariff talk, and just like in building a house, you can't turn on a light switch and make it happen. Musk is pretty smart and capable of looking into the future and concluding the US is spending itself into oblivion. A trillion here and a trillion there, and a big tax cut, and in the Middle Run it might work out.
