kitchen in the basement

The answer to this question is, #1 is the kitchen legal, and #2 is this typical for the market?

If not legal, no value. If not typical, no value or very little value. Most likely, the 2nd kitchen in the basement is insignificant, and will probably have little or no value at all.

If you really think it about, it's most likely illegal and will not be up to building codes. Most likely illegal 2nd kitchen, and cost to cure a $1,000 for it. Shoot a picture of it, and put it in a photo addenda.

You did not specify if this was an extra kitchen or the only kitchen. Also as others have pointed out if it is the only kitchen does it meet local codes ,if Not it would not meet FHA/MPS .
