Does anybody know of a good lawyer that represents appraisers in Oregon and has experience dealing with the ACLB? I don't think I need one, but I might consult with one just to make sure. Thanks

You need one. I helped an appraiser in Oregon dealing with the ACLB, they screwed her really good. You don't know it until it's too late. Do you have E&O?

The Oregon Board is after the appraiser that trained me and he is seeking a lawyer also.

I need one, also. Anyone else have past problems with the Oregon Board? I am amazed at the difference in attitude between other boards I have known and the Oregon board! The difference in attitude is amazing.

If you find one, let me know. I need one, also. I am stunned by the responses I have got from the board. Definitely an attach mentality.

based on the ramblings of Webbed Feet, I would made fun of the Oregon Board and likened them to the Spanish Inquistion. Funny to see that it may be true--not funny for you poor folks that have to deal with what seems like an over-reaching bunch of yahoos! Good luck!

Here's the guy I was told to use with any future issues. I have been told he has dealt with the board:

Richard E. Slezak PC

6446 Fairway Ave SE Suite 120
PO Box 3909
Salem OR 97302
503 315 2022

Since you do not allow anyone to pm you, its unfortunate as they are many of us with experience that may be able to help.

Is Webbed on the board?

It would make sense.
