Your church can still pay taxes....
You may perhaps be familiar with the term "disparate impact", and then consider exactly which groups will get hurt the most by such a change in property tax assessment.

Why should I give a crap....
BLESS YOUR HEART....

Churches can afford it.

The endowments have helped poor students get free education at the ivy leagues. I think if family earn less than $100,000 a year, their college costs are covered.
Thus when endowment is hit with taxes, the colleges will have to cut back.
Even Stanford which has over $30 billion endowment is cutting back in programs and expansion which is not good.

That subtracts from the amount used for charity almost dollar for dollar. Again, it is YOU the taxpayer that picks up the tab and serves zero purpose. Just because you hate religion, at least understand that the churches are substantial part of the economy in a number of ways.

Stanford likes to preach how virtuous they are by not investing in "oil" but do invest in natural gas....they own a lot of mineral rights in Arkansas and Oklahoma via a mineral acquisition company for their trust fund.

Churches don't pay property taxes. Money losers for tax revenues.
