Licensed FHA problems

Has anyone read or heard anything about the possibility of them extending or revising that 10/1/2009 deadline? I've been studying for the Cert test and completing my CEU's but have been going through a divorce and that has consumed so much of my time. Now, I will likely be a single parent by 10/1/2009 and unable to do get/do FHA work. FHA has been the bulk of my orders too. I'm hoping some miracle happens and I can get certified by then or they extend the deadline.

Our goose is cooked. After 15 years of FHA appraising they toss me under the bus.Our state requires so much bull**** it will take another year at least to jump through the mickey mouse hoops ,So goodbye FHA hello REO'S...Do you want fries with that???..
Oh , sorry no reprieve . off with our heads..

Same hoops in Florida and no online courses allowed. Good luck with the REO's...many of the management companies will not let licensed appraisers do them anymore either. I had a AMC call and say I was recommended by a bank to be put on their list. After completing an extensive questionaire and giving them tons of personal information, I got an email with the word "Denied" in the subject line. Seems they think the words "licensed" and "trainee" are pretty much the same. I hear the nails going in the coffin as we speak.
