When one of our appraisers applied for FHA he sent in licenses from both the states that he is Certified in (we are on the boarder of WI and MN). He got on the roster for WI, but MN never showed up. Of course, there is no one at HUD who seems to know what to do. We have called/ emailed/ left voice mails for 3 weeks to try to find a way to add a state.

I feel confident that someone here will know what to do, or have a super secret way to find help with this.

We have a client who has been hanging in there with us for the 3 weeks waiting. They are tired of waiting...

Thanks for your help!

I have been told be someone at HUD that you do not need to do anything- if you are approved through HUD in one state, you are approved wherever you have a license.

They also said that they do not think there is a way way to be listed in multiple areas...

I just checked, and there is an appraiser we know that when you do a search for his last name, he shows under both MN and WI, 2 licenses, 2 states, same name, same address....

Hmmmmm

I am licensed in two states and I have two entries in the roster. Try searching a different way (by zip code, maybe). Perhaps there is a typo and its messing up the search by name.

I just did it. You need to obtain the FHA connection ID and password. Go to the ID modification section (the exact title I do not remember) modify all info and in the licensing section add the 2nd lic, hit send and then it will ask you to upload a copy of the license. If you did this and it is not working I am sorry I don't know what to tell you. You will get an email and a hard copy mailing if it successful in about 48 hours.

You, Robert Jones, are a true peach!!!! I was able to navigate it and find what you told me and voila!!! I was able to upload the license! Way to go!!!!
