the manual cleanup tends to end up regardless of capture meth

Not well, but some of the AIs strong with image recognition should be able to identify style, building material and condition (at least a decent first-pass - worked in initial manual testing). But I don't believe the rooflines need to be in the 3.6 sketch?

But somewhere you have to be able to determine what areas are below 7' to comply with ANSI, in many cases. No better place or time to be addressing that than during the inspection of a given area.

That is literally 5x more time consuming. The problem is all the inspection apps to date are just not built around the right process (ie., way appraiser actually works).

zero chance bro I used to be the forum's punching bag (skippy) for my efficiency lol I am in and out and on to the next one while remaining wholly compliant. the shii I used to get when I shared I do 10+ walk throughs a day when I inspect were legendary. call it cutting corners (most did I call it efficiency), my entire market consists of cookie cutter homes, my new construction clients keep sending me back time and time again or whatever I don't dilly dally

I'm working on wiring up a LiDar (Apple RoomPlan) 3D to 2D Ansi(ish) floor plan pipeline in my experimental inspection iOS app. Got a pretty decent floor plan / sketch app going (works without LiDar right now but idea is LiDar will pre-generate these then appraiser can modify/manipulate quickly after).

Made some more progress with Sketch tool - added a number of structural and fixture related things, much of it mapping (flowing through) directly to the UAD 3.6 data structure when possible:



I want to get the Sketch stuff working well before wiring up LiDar 3D + AI to 2D Sketch. I think would also be cool to take a photo of your hand-drawn floor plan (or upload public records sketch) and it automatically translate to a digital plan like this (for the old school folks or those without LiDar).
