Larry, my sides are splitting!
Someone has to be blamed when things don't go right and the foreclosures pile up. (You-Him mentality) Kidding aside, I have walked into several high-end foreclosures lately because it's not just the little people can't pay their bills now. The "nouveau riche" folk have bought the suburban dream with their 100+% and equity+ loans and wonder why, now that the market is mushy, they can't resell them for 30% more than the mortgage.
Are you looking in my window? -I have the gerbil, 3 dogs etc. etc. but draw the line there.

Julia -- I checked your profile to see what market you are in what with the noueau riche coming unglued, but you aren't saying.

Yes, life is tough when all you have at stake is just your money. While it takes a while to build a philosophical base from which to operate. Been there ... Doing that! I've always maintained that the best thing about owning a home is you can live in your investment while the markets catch up to you! [Tongue in cheek where teeth are missing.]
