I thought the class was a joke. At the end of the course we filled out the National Appraisal System form. The instructor told us what to put on each line. At the end he told us to mail that appraisal along with $100 and we would get our designation. If you want mindless continuing ed take this. I prefer a good USPAP or something that will make me think a little.

I never did register nor attend their recent class in Denver last weekend. I met one woman at out last appr. assoc. meeting in Sept. who said she was enrolled for it. I'll be interested now to get her personal reply should I see her at next meeting in mid.-Nov.
I took that class in 1997 or 98.. I learned alot about manufactured housing~ It seemed to me that the NADA thing is not geared for RE appraisers and seemed to be more like appraising a car. (at least how I imagine it's done)
The designation seems a little cheesy and I didn't apply for it~
I think it's good for CE and will provide a greater over view of related markets..
