Here is a reference for specials today on National hamburger day. Don't tell Trump. He will spend your money for people he likes. LOL

Trade war is nasty. Might be a bumpy ride on wall street this next week. May have some stock brokers jumping out windows from the 30th floor on wall street.

That is why Congress should be making decisions that Trump is making by himself with no authority from congress to do so. I think GOP is scared if they take the authority and responsibility that is theirs, it will hurt them in upcoming Governor and Mid-term elections in Congress. Congress is like no thank you. I know it is our responsibility on trade war but we don't want it right now.

You just keep doing what you are doing POTUS. Leave us out of it. We are running for election next year.

I’ve noticed several TV ads promoting sales from domestic manufacturers promising “no tariff pricing.” Cars, campers, generators, furniture, etc….

That’s a pretty smart use of capitalism if you ask me.

Speaking of furniture - The Amish furniture manufacturers are doing very well these days, I’m told. 100% domestic in materials and craftsmanship, and a lot of them are unmatched in quality anyway. Today, they are being courted by big names for production. No tariff impact possibilities there.

Walmart just said they will have to raise prices. There are not enough local suppliers to supply them. They are big Dale. Trump can't control them in private business. Trump told them eat it. Walmart laughed.

I saw Sam Walton pull up in a an old beat up truck in overhauls at a Walmart and greet his employees. Many didn't even know who he was. Trump is not going to tell Sam Walton how to run his business. Walmart knows it will hurt their customers that pay the result of tariffs.

I know Mr. Walton is deceased. You don't have to tell me that fact.

How many times has Trump taken bankruptcy?

I met Mr Walton after Walmart opened a store in the small town I live in, back in my banking days. He was astounded that their small town experiment here was so successful. Every adjacent county came here to shop at his store, catching everybody by surprise I guess. He was seriously the nicest guy, and looked or dressed nothing like a wealthy businessman on that day.

They have operated on a small profit margin for the little man. He acted that way even though he was very rich. They don't have room to lose the small profit margin that tariffs have created on them. They are saying we have no choice to run our business but raise prices to our customers.

Bottom line is Walmart and many alike are buying from China and other countries to do business. They can't take bankruptcy without passing the tariff on.

Trump has no problem with bankruptcy based on history.............. Walmart does.
