Local schools starting up again

The main economic discussion on local news and public schools is inadequate or not working A/C. Locals are saying a student can't focus on learning if they are sitting in a classroom and sweating.

The other big topic on school starting is no electronic devices in classrooms unless teacher says okay due to medical condition or some type of disability.

My schools all had very big windows to open, and no fans. However, i don't remember being hot, or anybody around me saying it was hot. Now for the older teachers, yes they certainly feel it.

yeah, but you don't live where heat index has been like 110 plus in some areas like Memphis.

If a fan is blowing hard on you and you are in shade and stay hydrated, makes a difference.

Memphis has old schools in some areas and they had all summer to fix the A/C. It makes me mad that is focus. I have no problem with cell phones being taken away from children where they are not playing on phone instead of learning.

We have been been having 98 degrees with 95% humidity, no rain. We are making our children little snowflakes. Not at all like the generations that won ww1 & ww2.

However, this is why no one lived to collect social security before c.a.. The summers killed you.

we have 4 seasons, summer being one of them
"we" means my people. Living in the big city part of the concrete jungle, where most of the lower priced homes only have a window unit.
"yous" means you, whom i'm talking to.
"yo" means hey you.
