Louisiana Is Getting Ready To Settle With The Ftc Whether The La. Board Likes It Or Not

Keep paying attention. No fat lady has sung yet.
Maybe the fat lady has not sung yet, but the LA governor has sung and the LREAB will no longer be able to act on its own (or through the director) in regards to enforcing or setting rules about C&R.

This particular opera is over, but some people don't realize it yet.

The fact is appraisers who cut their own throat in the process of cutting fees hurt a lot of other appraisers, but "just say no" doesn't seem to enter the thick skulls of most production appraisers. Until we are paid a professional fee, demand a professional fee, and are truly able to operate under "appraisal independence", we should be ashamed to pretend we are anything but low-paid hacks not even worthy of being called journeymen.

This guy is chirping about rule of law. Now that is funny.

If we are a country of the rule of law could you post the one that makes the taxpayer responsible for the big banks bailouts?

Quicken Loans said the law firms could end up with millions of dollars while their clients could get small amounts.
Funny. The righteous indignation is hilarious. While Quicken Loans AMC partners walk away with millions in Appraisal fees where the greater portion of the Appraisal fee, paid for BY the Consumer should be going to the Appraiser.

A spokesman for Quicken Loans blasted the lawyers. "This case is the latest example of predatory plaintiff law firms . . . manipulating our nation's legal system by inventing a class of so-called 'aggrieved' plaintiffs to enrich themselves financially at the expense of lenders thereby, driving up the costs of financing to homeowners and future homebuyers."

How DARE those predatory lawyers enrich themselves by engaging in manipulation via Rule of Law! :rof:Especially when Quicken isn't getting its cut. Quicken has been sued so many times for defrauding and harassing their customers (among other things) and paid hefty fines so often, the irony of the righteousness is priceless.

And for all you know it could just be intermission. Maybe you should take time out for a potty break.
