Lower gas prices good sign?

Gas prices, according to the news this morning, are lower than the last several years at this time. I think that’s probably a good thing. Unless you don’t use gas I suppose.

I imagine dropping oil prices is akin to falling Tesla stock prices....
Initially negative impact on retirement accounts....

So - Higher gas prices are a positive sign in your warped way of thinking? :rof:

I knew a pretty rich man that said he liked oil prices being high because his stock historically had done better when oil prices were high. He said based on his experience in stocks, when oil prices fell, stock prices fell with oil prices. I don't know all his stock portfolio.

Oil is a commodity.

so Main street is better than Wall street?!? the last 4 years saw crazy stock gains at the expense of middle income Americans who were further burdened under the assault of non-stop money printing. 1.9 trillion dollar pork bill under 46 with continued covid funding now ticks in a 7 trillion a year is unsustainable I'd love to see a ton or recission packages sent to the president to cut way more than would ever get passed in congress under threat of cloture
