Manufactured Housing Class

Just to let everyone know, the Arizona School of Real Estate in Scottsdale has a Manufactured housing class scheduled for Friday, June 20 2008. It is a one day class starting at 8:30am and out at 4:00pm. The last one they had was in February so this class does not come up often.

Anyone signed up ? I called Linda and we need one more live body to meet the minimum class size. The usual price for this class is $150 however they made a mistake and posted a price of $110 for the class on page 44 in their latest magazine. They are honoring the $110 price for this class.

If I were in Phoenix or needed the classes, I would be there. I'll let the few other appraisers I know, know about the class. We do lots of MH appraisals in our area. A class like that should not be canceled.

We ended up with 6 people there. Minimum class size was three. I just recieved the mag from the school and they have the same class scheduled next month so if you missed this one, catch it next month.

The Phoenix chapter of the NAIFA will hold their July meeting on July 9th--I will be sending out notices to all the Arizona appraisers on my email list as soon as all the details are worked out. If you would like to be on my email list contact me at jmstratton @ aznex. net I send out notices of important info, NAIFA and AI chapter meetings and seminars, some times several times a month. Normally the NAIFA chapter meetings are the first Wednesday of the month and every one is welcome.

Any way the chapter has asked me to be the speaker at the July meeting regarding appraising factory built homes. I will have lots of hand outs and info regarding factory built homes in Arizona, regarding Arizona assessment and taxation, Arizona tags/labels/seals/insignia, etc, etc, etc.
