Meet Wayne Mc Kerley

I would love to go, however, I have an aversion to snow. That is why I moved to FL.

The boat just does not tow well in snow.

Mike, why dont you jump in Pam's car and come on down after the party? I can put you on a species of bass I can guarantee you have never caught. Suwannee Bass. Only exists in 3 rivers down here and a blast to catch.

Well, I'm working on this one. Hubby is being Scrooge at the moment. "We really need to watch our spending. We're building a house, you know." Sigh. Can you tell who the real practical one is? Then, he never gets on here and posts, nor really has a clue how cool all you guys are, or what he'd be missing.

Come to think of it, I could probably just finish my shopping The Castle Rock Outlet Malls. Pretty good bargains there last time I stopped, and what better way to get in the Christmas mood by being in the mountains and the snow???

Lee Ann,

My oldest would probably be up for the babysitting thing (almost 14). I'm thinking our kiddos just may hit it off.

Quick! Pull out the big guns! :o
Pick up the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band's Christmas album, then play "Colorado Christmas" over and over again at high volume while pouting with watery eyes. The man will cave in....trust me.

Lee, you definately should pick up a copy too ;) .

"All along the Rockies you can feel it everywhere,
from Telluride to Boulder down below.
The closest thing to Heaven on this planet anywhere,
is a quiet Christmas morning in the Colorado snow."

Well, the tear thing won't be too hard. One glimpse at those lyrics and I'm jonesing for a trip to Georgetown. Shopping and strolling through those quaint little mountain towns all dressed up in their holiday gear is the best!

Ok Rock Yard Brewery sounds kewl!

What snow? None here...none in Denver. Went to Black Hawk Sunday and Monday, none there either.

Dates are still open....youse guys tell me!

Mike,

Either day is fine with me, let me know as soon as you know.

To everyone:

I am flattered that anyone would want to meet me! I don't do speeches, so don't expect one! I am just a former appraiser who changed fields and am really enjoying what I have been doing for the last 5 years!

I am grateful to everyone who visits my web sites and might receive some benefit from them!

Uh, Mike, you did say you was buyin' didn't you?

I'll cast my vote for Monday the 22nd. That way I can knock off some shopping at the outlet stores and still have two more days before Christmas to scramble for anything I still need.

We got about 10" of white stuff last night here in the high country, but sunshine and brilliant blue skies today. Better tromp out back to whack a tree soon, as I heard there's more on the way later this week. ATV doesn't like hillsides if the snow is over a foot deep. Heard my buddy Ozzy took a tumble on his.

Wayne,
Yeah....I'm pretty sure I heard Mike say he was buyin'. ;)
Looking forward to meetin' ya.

BTW....All of those who are attending are carnivores, right?

For those of us in other parts of the country...we feel slighted. Wayne, why would you not want to come to NE Ohio?

Oh yea, never mind, I answered my own question.

You folks have fun in Denver.

...on the other other hand Pam, me, Cat, and Dee Dee in the same place at the same time? Who would bail us out after we got done having too much fun?? Guys are you gonna step up to the plate on this one?
Definition of a friend is one who will bail you out of jail.
Definition of a good friend is one who is sitting in jail next to you saying, "Boy, did WE screw up!"
Wish I could make this one, but I'm afraid the schedule's too crowded.
