Below is part of an email sent to another appraiser:

For your information, read below: Your client, the lender, has to give permission to Mercury regarding the distribution of the data you create when submitting an appraisal through Mercury Network. Platinum Data Solutions is clearly in the proprietary data collection and Automated Valuation / Review business. If you do not like what you read below, consider contacting your lender that uses Mercury and inquire if they have given permission to Mercury to distribute your work product to a company like Platinum Data Solutions...

So who's next in getting our work and using it to make money on? Who owns Mercury after alamode sold it?

Does Total connect use Mercury Network or did alamode maintain control of some portion for their own clients?

Its really frustrating how all these big companies can steal our data and sell it back and forth. Yet if we even mention we performed an appraisal for a lender, we could be in violation of client confidentiality.
