O.K. I've got post cards and get popups on this forum for Mercury Network (Yes, Wayne, I know you sell advertising - no problem). My question is, is it actually free as they say, and does it mean more business? Anyone out there on this thing?

Roger,

We have no popup advertising on this forum, you must have us confused with someone else.

We do have banner advertising at the top of each page from our advertisers, but we do not have "pop up" ads, those annoying pages that "pop up" out of nowhere when you didn't request for them. I hate popup ads and would not run them.

I was just reading some on their web site and the Hipe sounds good. If you look at the list of features there are two levels of membership. The premium membership, I think it was Desktop(?) has a one of its features listed as "Pay no order acceptance fees"

Does that answer you question? It did mine. Just another way to take money from us.

Decided to run the sign up and Desktop membership is $295 per year for a new member.

The affiliate membership is free. I just ran the sign up. No Where did I see how much the acceptance fee was for an assignement. I think that is wrong! I guess when I get my first assignement offer from them I get hit with SUPRISE we are going to charge you $25 to accept this job.

Or they will get you hooked and receiveing work and they at some point charge you a fee. Thats probably how it will work. I just deleted my account.
