Minimizing cell phone/ electronics use

I started on a PC Jr and had to program my games in BASIC. Had a 2400 baud modem and bulletin boards were a thing. I remember thinking how awesome it would be to have a handheld computer. Now that sci-fi fantasy is reality...with all of the real-life issues that come with that reality. I will not answer a work call or text after hours. Don't have facebook or any social media. My wife is constantly trying to show me this or that post about whatever on wherever and I constantly deny. I try to limit using it.

I use minimum technology but adapt to what comes.
Like yesterday and today, I'm in negotiations and I purposely wait a certain period of time before I respond.
If too fast, I'm too eager even though I am. Have to wait awhile before contacting back.
