So Yale and MIT have opened all their courses for free, there you will find reading lists, syllabus, and lecture notes for all of MITs courses.

Yale has a similar thing, but only a few courses...

Although the degree does not come with it, not bad resource material for appraisals or just FYI. I personally like the economics section, but then again I am getting ready for my master's soon anyhow. Someone compared this open work like finding $40,000 on a park bench.

Cool, I see numerous statistics courses available from MIT.

"So what are you doing in your spare time?"

"Taking a Statistics course from MIT."

The chicks will be impressed.:)

My brother used to teach at MIT. Apparently he got the brains and I got the good looks and charm!

Here are some courses from the MIT list that might be of interest.

15.021J / 11.433J Real Estate Economics
15.426J Real Estate Finance and Investment
15.427J Real Estate Capital Markets
15.428J Advanced Topics in Real Estate Finance

Brian, good find

I thought everyone might like this stuff. I plan to get my PhD next week, then maybe take over a struggling middle eastern nation next week.

Funny story how I came across that find, so I'm in the doctor's office waiting to have an ultrasound for my wife...we are expecting our third. So I see this magazine and it says 50 things to do this year to start living. So i flip through some of them, and I bump into this story. I literally rip the page out while we are in the waiting room. My wife hits me and the entire office and lobby stares at me..all so you guys can have an Ivy league education <tear>, that's how much you guys mean to me!

Have fun maybe we should start a lending library of the reading list?

I have also found most chicks do not dig stats, unless you are calculating probabilities as you wait for the line to appear on the pregnancy test, I'm not sure they are impressed but defintely distracted from the looming life issue about to happen.

It would be cool if you could audit these courses, and get course credit. Sorta piece together a degree. Anyone know if that is possible?
