Multiple bathrooms, how to show as a number?

A residence with 3 Full baths and 2 half-baths is shown as 3F2H.

There is no such thing as a half bath. If one can do everything one needs to do to get ready for work in that room, it is a full bath. Now, an individual may prefer a separate shower over a shower/bath but that is a matter of personal preference and not readily measurable in the market - at least not in MY market!

Arkansas has indoor plumbing now?:rof: Sorry, couldn't help myself.

Agreed. The concept of a 3/4 bath is somewhat outmoded. I see many homes built these days with no tub in the main bath. Personally, thats fine with me, as I have not taken a bath in probably 20 years. Fortunately, I shower twice a day..........

I couldn't agree more with Tom although it's probably good to have at least one tub/shower unit to appeal to couples that have or intend to have babies.

In this area, 3/4 bath = full bath, with no comment needed.

3 full baths plus two half baths? On the form, that's 4 bathrooms for me, with a comment in the report about 3 full and two half, plus a sketch that indicates the same.

I asked this years ago and cannot find the old answer.

The house has 3 bathrooms and 2 half baths. How would you show this as a number (ie 2 full, one half = 2.5 baths).

Expanding on that, how would you show a 3 full, one half and one 3/4 bath?

Thanks for your help.

3 full bathrooms and 2 half-baths, all in GLA: "3F,2H".

When you state "3/4 bath", I assume that you mean a bathroom with toilet, sink, and shower-stall (but no tub). If this is correct, this is known as a "full bathroom".

So I assume when you get ready for work in your "half bath" you bathe in the toilet?????

Well said Prop Ec..............as usual

I laughed when I read 'if you can do everything you need to do to go to work".............huh?

I guess it all depends what you do for work...............if you pump septic systems............I guess that would make sense..........

Its standard around here----toilet and sink = 1/2 bath shower/tub plus toilet and sink = full bath..........

not rocket surgery.................

not rocket surgery.................

rocket surgery???? LOL

How about just a "yes" or "no" in the "bathroom" box.

Adjusting for bathrooms is silly unless they're causing some sort of functional obsolesence.
