Music Studio Addition - Correction Required?

Hi guys...I'm a fairly new FHA appraiser and I was hoping I could get a little direction from some of you more experienced FHA appraisers. My subject's family room has been divided in two by a temporary/non-bearing wall. The new room is being used as a recording studio. All work was done in a professional manner. I obviously will be mentioning this in the report but am I required by FHA to call it out for correction/removal?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

It was done professionally and looked pretty sturdy so I don't believe it was a safety concern.

What makes you think it should be removed for FHA?

Well that was my question. Should it be? It was probably done without permits but it's not like a major addition or anything. Just a couple of non-bearing walls that create a small room out of the existing family room.

Permits should be handled as they would be on any assignment in California IMHO, and there have been numerous threads here about that here that you might want to peruse.
