Try Green Mountain Learning. They have limited number of classes but are good quality and pretty recent.I have been using McKissock for my Appraisal continuing education for over 14 years. While I do appreciate the access to classes, I feel they are failing their students by not updating or fixing classes that have errors. I have recently tried to reach out to management while taking my latest 28 hours and nobody returns calls or emails, even after I said I would write a review if not contacted.
If you are looking for a basic understanding of a concept, then it is probably an okay place to start. If you don’t care if the class content is current to today’s market, industry standards being used today in many cases are not even discussed. I understand it is difficult to write classes, but if they are riddled with mistakes, you would hope McKissock Appraisal courses would be corrected and updated (especially when students make comments in the areas provided). There is always an opportunity to review the class at the end, which they obviously Cherry Pick the good remarks for their home page, and never address negative comments.
I would like to see them update their courses, provide current world examples, and use sources that are not over 10 years old in this ever-changing business. Call students back if they have concerns, help improve the industry instead of just filling the status quo.
They may have a promo code for 50% off right now.
They appreciate corrective feedback and reply within one business day to inquiries.
Contact them and ask about promo code.
