Need A GOOD Camera

Koert:

I also have used a video cam for inspections, it takes a very standardized format for your inspection at first, even more so than with paper as you are right: the linear format rewind and fast forward, is very annoying if you forget something.... and 'jump sequence'.

I agree with Greg that MOST buyers will not object, however some will, and you either soothe their ruffled feathers (takes time) OR shrug and pull out your paper....

The other issue is that when working on paper I sometimes make comments that the homeowner doesn't need to hear/see, and in video format, this is limited...particularly if they are dogging your heels

Soooo sometimes you wind up doing both: which is in my opinion counterproductive.

The running narrative is usefull back at the office. The ability to write off the camera (purchased jsut before the baby was born, was priceless!

And actually it DID provably increase productivity at at time when such would have otherwise been expected to go down!
