I just got Apex 2 running with Toolbox under XP today using the integrator and it is not bad but when I print the sketch, it prints (and previews on the screen) about a half inch to the right. the grid runs to the right edge of the paper instead of stopping in the window provided by Bradford.

Has anyone else had this problem? I will call Bradford tech support Monday unless someone knows the solution. Thanks

I had that problem for years with Day One because of the way I had my computer set up. I was using a 15" monitor, have bad eyesight, so had the computer set to large fonts. Would have to reset to small fonts, print my package, reset to large fonts so I could continue working. Finally bought a 19" monitor--have computer set to small fonts at all times and my problem has been solved.

Thanks for responding.

This is an odd problem. Everything is working well in Toolbox and Apex until I print the sketch under Apex, Version 9.86, and Windows XP.

If I do the sketch with the old Apex in my Windows 98 partition, the sketch prints fine.

If I import a sketch drawn under Windows 98 and Apex IV into my Toolbox running under XP (I have a dual boot system), the sketch will print the way it should. However, if I alter that same sketch using Apex 2 in my XP partition, it will suddenly extend the grid out into the margin. The floor plan looks OK and seems to be in the right place but the grid looks odd hanging out there in the right margin.

I'm hoping for some setting that can be applied through the integrator or in Apex but may have to wait for tech support tomorrow. Fortunately, I did not delete my Windows 98 partition so I can keep doing sketches there for the time being.

Thanks again for taking the time to repond.

Dave
