Need Help to pass VA APPRAISAL STATE EXAM

Sounds like you are trying to memorize answers to specific questions, instead of learning the concepts and definitions...thus being able to answer any question about the concept or term.

If you do not know your terminology, you will not do well on the test. Go to the glossary of every text book. Make up flash cards. Memorize the words and definitions. This will also help you grasp the concepts.

The test 'pool' probably consists of at least a 1000 questions. You can take the test many times and never see the same exact question. But you will see the same concept over and over. Think in terms of math...if you are being tested on adding two digit numbers together, there are hundreds and hundreds of possible problems.

Good luck.

thx BILL

Go to DPOR webite and email your questions. They will answer them all for you.

Download DPOR Regulations and read them.

I thought you had to have 5 years of experience to be added to the VA panel? Trainee experience doesn't count.

Have you even taken the USPAP test yet ? You seem very confused as to how to achieve a license in your state.

I think you better go back to square one, and start from there. If your asking if you need your 2000 hours before or after a test, you really have no idea whats going on, and you need to figure it out before you waste anymore of your time.

Best of luck.

Monty.

Monty i did tookUSPAP EXAM AND PASSED IT last year....i am confued bcoz i heard from some people that your 2000 hours training can start after USPAP exam but i have doubt maybe the 2000 hour training start after you pass the state exam...thats my confusion and if you can answer me i would really appriciate that...coz when i register for state exam ...they send me a letter and i will quote it so u can understand what i am trying to say"""congratulation your application for original licensure as a real estate appraiser has been approved on 04-25-06 by VA real estate appraiser board. ::"

if anyone know the situation plz tell me thankz

You might want to start with writing in full sentences with proper capitalization and grammar - this is a professional forum, not instant messaging.

I'm sorry, but if this writing is an example of how you communicate, I don't think there is much of anything we can do to help.

Contact your state regulatory agency with your questions. They are the only ones that can give you a precise, up to date answer. (Licensing requirements are in a state of flux, and you do not need out of date information, or guesses from forumites at this point.)

FWIW...your state regulatory agency's web link should be in your favorite's list and their address and phone numbers shoulde be in your address/phone file. They can make or break you and should always be your first source.
