Need To Hire For An Inspection In Savannah, Georgia

No, this isn't a hybrid!

We're setting up off-campus housing for my daughter. The management company for the rental unit we are looking at requires the perspective tenant (or parents... this being a college town) to view the unit first.
We've previewed the unit via its on-line photos and it looks good to us.

So, I have a couple of choices:
1. Fly out there to look at a unit for 15 minutes and then sign the lease.
2. Hire someone to act as my representative to eyeball the unit, take a few photos, and give me a summary.

I'm going with #2 and I'd prefer to engage an appraiser from this forum if possible.

This is not an appraisal. Since I'm hiring the person because they are an appraiser, I'd consider it an Appraisal Practice.

Wish I was closer, Denis. It's a great little city (tough for me to say, as being a Yankee and all) and I think your daughter will enjoy living there. There is a lot of history, which is what I loved.

Sadly it's about 6 hours away ... so I'm out. All the best though. I'm sure you'll find someone from here willing to take you up on your offer

She's in her final year; she and we love Savannah.
She goes to SCAD (Savannah College of Art & Design).
Both my kids have/are graduated from schools located in the South. I always felt a connection to the Rebels.
