You're probably familiar with the only peformer I really wish I would have seen live: LEON RUSSELL and THE SHELTER PEOPLE. I even missed him in Upland, CA, circa 2000, and Riverside, CA, circa 2015--in small venues long past the height of his career...

LEON RUSSELL

He was stoned out of his mind at a concert in Fayetteville with Willie Nelson. Willie kind of covered for him. That was in the mid-70s. I didn't see it but it was talk of the campus at the time. Leon was a Tulsa guy, and you could go see him often there.
