I got a new system with Vista; I had a guy erase everything & install XP. Now I want everything on my old computer on the new one. I have a USB Easy Transfer Cable. What do I do? Just plug it in & say some magic words? Any help would be appreciated.

From the old computer, remove the hard drive, install in the new computer, copy any and/or all files, return hard drive to old computer.

My next machine will be an iMac. I will carry my hp to the store and say, I need this on the iMac. Done.
