Dean, you're in Tennessee now. Just BBQ the pig. :new_smile-l:
RSW, if you are in a subdivision, get a Benjamin Sheridan .22 air rifle. It isn't very loud at all, and you can wack the critters. As I was sitting here yesterday, I wacked 2 cow/grackle birds through my cracked office door with my sons .177 air rifle. I'm not like some of you redneck Tennessee appraisers shooting critters all day that come by the window as they work. Two was enough for me yesterday. A redneck would have shot more. Gosh sometimes I do love this job. Type appraisal, shoot pest birds. It doesn't get much better.
I got it(Benjamin .177) for him when he was 6, so I bought the .177 caliber so there would be less lead flying through the air. Now, a few years later, I wish I had bought him the .22 for more clean kills. He's killed hundreds of critters with that thing. It's deadly accurate when sited in. At 35 feet, I put 5 pellets into a dime size target. There were only two holes, on strayed a bit, the other pellets went in the same pellet sized hole. That thing is deadly.
Hauling grandhogs off won't work too much, unless you take them way off. They'll just come back.
PS, the Sheridan will work numbers on cats as well. :icon_mrgreen:
